As a Special Assets Insurance Analyst Sr within PNC Private Bank organization, you can be based in Pittsburgh, PA ; Akron, OH; or Cleveland, OH.
The Special Assets Insurance Analyst Sr. is responsible for providing primary insurance support to Trust Real Estate Advisors (TREA’s) along with various routine and non-routine administrative support functions within the Trust Real Estate Team. Must have exceptional organizational skills including the ability to balance multiple requests and prioritize tasks in an efficient manner to support multiple people. Must possess effective verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills. Insurance experience or knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal team and external service providers to manage and support the insurance function for Trust Real Estate.
  • Utilizing our insurance database TIMS (Trust Insurance Management System) to monitor and maintain all internal Master Trust Policies as well as all externally placed policies on our various asset types. This includes new asset setups, updating policy information and adding property details and takedowns.
  • Maintain and monitor all flood zone determinations using a service provider.
  • Initiate, submit and track claims through closure.
  • Monitor, track and pay external policy premiums to maintain coverages.
  • Analyzes complex documentation alongside TREA including insurance certificates and/or policies to ensure proper documentation and replacement cost valuation.
  • Assist on Master Policy Renewal – participate in renewal discussions, work with service providers to review, process and upload renewal file.
  • Review multiple reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance.
    Job Description
    Provides management and analysis of fiduciary, investment and operational processes surrounding special asset valuations and asset set up and movement. When a fiduciary analyst has an issue or question pertaining to a special asset they will reach out to this group.
    Analyzes complex documentation including subscription agreements, operating agreements, management letters, annual reports, and financial statements to ensure proper documentation, valuation, and treatment of special assets to conform with regulatory and compliance requirements.
    Provides consultation, direction and advice to internal and external customers & service providers related to special assets. Reviews existing processes and drives improvements/implementation. Updates standard operating procedures and ensures non-standard processing is in accordance with AMG’s risk appetite. Participates in and serves as subject matter resource for projects.
    Reviews reports to identify exceptions, monitor quality, and ensure compliance. Participates in risk mitigation activities and ensures all activities comply with regulatory and policy and procedure requirements.
    Executes complex transactions/processes utilizing standard proceduresand at times addresses unique situations and verifies work processes to ensure completeness, accuracy, and conformance to established service levels and applicable procedures.
