    With more than 40 employees and a history spanning more than 38 years this sought after position is evidenced by the fact that at least 40% of their staff have been with them for over a decade. The property team is the largest team in the firm with one of the Directors taking the lead, as well as 5 other lawyers and an incredibly talented support team of 7 legal assistants who provide a very high level of support including drafting our leasing documents. We are looking for a candidate with an excellent understanding of commercial property law, including leasing, development work and sales and acquisitions. You will be a legal professional who thrives in the fast-paced world of property law. Collegiality is a strong aspect of our team, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and established senior-level lawyer to join our team. You will be responsible for managing your own files as well as working with our team. You will be responsible for negotiating the terms of documents and building on established client relationships. Commercial leasing is a big part of what we do, so this will comprise a significant portion of your day.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • At least 7years PAE in Property law.
  • A commercial and efficient approach to problems and practice.
  • An ability to build strong working relationships with clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Effective organisational skills in matter management.
  • Good technology skills including MS Office proficiency.
