KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (BEHAVIORS):

  • Knowledge and skills in data management and computer software development.
  • Knowledge of principle of relational database technology, database design.
  • Knowledge of arithmetic, statistics, and analysis.
  • Knowledge of the logic and creation of Structured Query Language (SQL).
  • Knowledge of the theories, principles, and techniques of research, planning and organization, data collection strategies and procedures and data collection instruments.
  • Knowledge of the theories, principles, and techniques of research, planning and organization, data collection strategies and procedures and data collection instruments.
  • Skills in a variety of databases and spreadsheet operations for research, data analysis and reporting, including the use of complex queries.
  • Skills in curiosity and self-motivation to seek out creative solutions.
  • Ability to plan, design and direct a data collection and reporting system.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, superiors, and subordinates.
  • Ability to write clearly, and effectively.
  • Ability to design, develop and present reports that clearly communicate the purpose of the report.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a math and science related field.
  • Two years of experience in an information technology position or related field.
  • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
