“Qualification - Experience with the New Roads and Street works Act 2002 chapter 8
Valid formal Health & Safety qualification e.g. NEBOSH "
Qualification - Has a good working knowledge of Microsoft office. Competent in use of technology
Qualification - Has a very high standard of literacy and numeracy. Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Qualification - Ideal candidate will have Skilled Trade or events industry background and City and Guilds in Signing, Lighting and Guarding
QHSE - Understands requirement to respect confidentiality
Operational - Understanding of event industry. Has the ability to work to strict deadlines
Operational - full and valid driving licence. Flexibility essential in workload and possibly hours if needed
Leadership - Represents Mitie values on site by being presentable, approachable and helpful at all times. Able to motivate and develop others within the business. Management experience preferred although training will be given
Leadership - Is hands-on; driving a culture of high quality customer excellence. Management of diverse multi skilled service delivery team
Leadership - Is able to plan and manage own workload effectively.

Job Objectives and Responsibilities QHSE - Trains staff and updates MiSafe training matrix. Keeps records of Learning and development forms QHSE - Follows the Company’s QHSE procedures within the course of the role and ensures that the Team are performing their duties within the guidelines at all times. Operational - Responsible for achieving and maintaining the client specification as set in contractual requirements across multiple sites Leadership - Sets objectives and goals for the team, and decides what work needs to be done to meet those goals. Leadership - Manages the day-to-day activities of Traffic Management and Engineering event services Leadership - Organises, divides, and delegates the work into manageable activities, and selects people to accomplish the tasks that need to be done Leadership - Motivates and communicates,creating a team from a group of people, through decisions on pay, placement, promotion, and through communications with the team.
