BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health or Social Sciences;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a health care environment;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management;
- Minimum 2 years’ experience interpreting, analyzing, and presenting data;
- Experience in working independently and effectively managing multiple priorities;
- Expertise in project planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting;
- Knowledge of the health care environment and maternal, newborn care and women’s health system;
- Knowledge of statistics and ability to analyze fiscal and patient care data;
- Knowledge of principles of relationship management and stakeholder engagement;
- Demonstrated understanding of Quality Improvement methods, principles and best practices;
- Proven experience in quality improvement initiatives;
- Demonstrated knowledge of principles of adult education and innovations in the field;
- Ability to learn and apply policies and procedures, relative legislation, collective agreements, Canadian Hospital Accreditation Standards, Professional Disciplines Standards for Ontario, and clinical practice guidelines;
- Knowledge of computers (i.e., clinical software, Microsoft Office Suite, internet and email);
- Excellent oral and written communication;
- Effective presentation skills;
- Demonstrated problem solving and concern resolution;
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to facilitate change;
- Ability to work collaboratively and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Eligible to work in Canada.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s Degree in Education, Business/Health Care Administration, Quality or other health or project management related field.
