We are looking for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join our team developing an exciting new role specialising in the management of clients with Parkinsons Disease.
You will hold your own caseload which will be diverse in the progressive problems you will manage including Parkinsons, dementia, MND, stroke etc. You will be community based and will have a mix of regular clinics, outpatients, care home and residential visits where you will assess, treat and review clients.

We pride ourselves on the development of our team and can offer a range of both internal and external qualifications and courses ie VF training with collaboration from our acute trust and LSVT training. We are in the process of developing a FEES service in the community and excited about this new venture.
The service operates 9 – 5 Monday to Friday and we can offer flexibility within this. We are open to both full and part time applicants.
Engage as part of a supportive team responsible for providing specialist assessment, differential diagnosis and treatment of swallowing and communication difficulties in the community setting.
Be responsible for overseeing the PD service, developing evidence-based pathways and treatment options
Participate in service development and be an effective member of the SLT team
Provide clinical supervision to other members of our SLT team and students
Design and deliver training to other members of the MDT as required
You will be supervised by a senior SLT, but an ability to work autonomously will be integral to the role
