Description:

We are seeking a Specialist Biomedical Scientist is to contribute to the provision of health care to the people of the Cwm Taf University Health Board area. This involves the provision of high quality, reliable and efficient Cellular Pathology laboratory services, from the laboratory at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant.
The post is on a fixed term basis until the 31st December 2025. Secondments will be considered, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.
The post holder will undertake both routine and specialist analyses and laboratory procedures, and perform duties commensurate with the training and qualifications of an experienced HCPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist.
The post holder has supervisory responsibility for less experienced scientific and technical staff and for laboratory support staff.
The post holder is required to deputise for more senior staff during short term absences.
