Overview of the role
The individual would be responsible to take complete ownership of end-to-end implementation of Power BI solutions, from data acquisition and transformation to the creation of dynamic and impactful dashboards.

What you will do?

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data (utilizing Alteryx) from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Design and optimize data models utilizing Alteryx to enable efficient data analysis and visualization.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power-BI (desktop and web app) to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across different data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into actionable insights.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate BI solutions to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis in case of significant deviations between measurement results and performance targets and suggest process improvements to operational areas and process owners.

REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

Job-Specific Skills:

• Proven experience working with Power-BI (desktop and web app) with expertise in building semantic models for data visualization.
• Proven experience working with Alteryx or other ETL tools
• Advanced SQL skills, including expertise in writing complex queries and optimizing database performance
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modelling and ETL processes.
• Must have experience working directly with end-users and analysts in a business intelligence environment

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience with at least 4 years’ experience working within the Business Intelligence domain

Minimum Qualifications, Certification and Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
