Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Staffing operations and planning

  • Support new case staffing logistics
  • Write and send staffing survey and maintain list of available consultants by tenure
  • Coordinate communications in advance of calls with case leadership teams
  • Code staffing assignments into HR IS system (“BOSS”)
  • Send standard kickoff materials to new teams (“True Team” and “Best Case Team Experience” emails)
  • Write and send case pipeline email
  • Provide ongoing case logistics support
  • Maintain ongoing list of current cases / supervisors / ombudspeople
  • Track case end timing for check-ins
  • Manage vacation approvals for junior Associate Consultants, escalating as needed
  • Support capacity planning by inputting upcoming case rolls into BOSS
  • Support planning and execution of on-going staffing-driven and people-focused meetings
  • Coordinate directly with the members of the Associate Consultant/ Consultant/ Manager Program Management teams to prepare for and facilitate the regularly occurring “People” meetings
  • Work with Program Managers to establish priorities, arrange for required content, and maintain an eye on continuous improvement of the meeting format and content
  • Assist Program Managers with the assembly of class meeting materials and setting the schedule for each class to ensure proper content is being delivered to various cohorts within the general consulting classes
  • Promotions support – Work with Program Managers and Promotion Committee Heads to support promotion decision-making process for Associate Consultants and Consultants/Managers
  • Support diligence process including assignment of Guardians, preparation of diligence packs for Guardians, preparation of materials for committee meetings and logistical support as needed

Professional development (PD) support

  • Ratings process – Drive process for the bi-annual consulting staff ratings effort, including:
  • Be an expert on and team with the regional HR Shared Service Center (SSC) and local HR team to ensure consistent policies are applied in ratings processes and follow through the review execution – e.g. policies for first year AC/Cs, returning employees, direct promotes, new managers, etc.
  • Following review delivery, team with HR SSC, local HR and staffing to ensure staffing is playing the right role in performance management – e.g. tracking of individuals on performance watch and status / processes, communications to PD reviewers, etc.
  • Serve as first line of local office expertise for people data issues related to the HR SSC (e.g. assessing accuracy of availability report, quality-control for upward feedback, etc.)
  • PD advisor and mentor assignments
  • Run annual process to gather and collate input on preferences, match preferences, and communicate assignments
  • Prepare dashboard of current subscriptions and maintain master reference list
  • Monitor joiner / leaver information to identify new PD advisor/sponsor requirements (manage ad hoc PD advisor assignments for transfers in as well as assignment of sponsors)
  • Partner with HR to proactively identify where new PD advisor/sponsor matches will need to be made due to LOAs, departures, etc.
  • Manage ongoing review timeliness
  • Team with the HR SSC to ensure consistent data is used in the review triggering process
  • Manage overdue review escalation process, involving program management and office leadership as necessary

Ad-hoc support

  • Support trainer identification for in-office trainings
  • Partner with AC/Consultant Program Management on survey and data requests needed to support talent initiatives
  • Run ad hoc reports and analyses as requested by Program Management and Operations team

For all other locations, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time salary range for this role is commensurate with competitive geographic market rates for this role and will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to experience, education, licensure/certifications, training and skill level.

  • Annual discretionary performance bonus
  • This role may also be eligible for other elements of discretionary compensation
  • 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start dat
