Job Summary
An opportunity exists for a Senior Data Analyst in the CIB Data Enablement team. In this role you will be required to have deep understanding of data to drive and deliver on remediating data quality issues, business projects and collaborating with relevant teams to deliver value.

Job Description

• Data analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement and enable insights
• Understanding the data value chain from data management practices to data analytics
• Partner with Technology teams to identify technology tools available to enable business
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners and stakeholder management to understand the data landscape in various business/product areas
• Maintain the data backlog, continually evaluate, prioritise the work required to ensure that business strategy is enabled by the right data
• Work with business to understand the business case to support business goals, outline use cases, and quantify the potential benefits

Experience and Education Required

• Preferred degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience in data analysis or business analyst role
• An understanding of IT environment
• Extensive knowledge working with SQL,
• PowerBI and Hadoop Ambari knowledge advantageous

Education
Bachelor’s Degree: Information Technology
