Are you keen to become an integral and valued part of specialist multidisciplinary allergy team?
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Dietitian to join our existing specialist Adult Allergy Dietitian in providing a highly specialist dietetics advice to patients in our tertiary Adult Allergy Service at the Royal National Ear Nose and Throat Hospital (RNTNEH).
You should have strong leadership skills, excellent negotiation skills, an ability to work effectively within teams and be able to manage your time effectively in a constantly changing environment. Previous experience in allergy is desirable; however the successful candidate will be fully supported in their learning needs.
The team has a strong research ethos and an interest in research and audit, as well as education and training is pivotal to this role.
Professionally you will be supported by a forward thinking Nutrition and Dietetics Department of some 45wte qualified Dietitians, support and administrative staff providing services across the Trust who are committed to clinical governance initiatives. You will be actively involved in CPD and department activities.
You will work closely with our existing Clinical Specialist Dietitian, CNS and Consultant staff in providing a service to all patients with suspected or confirmed food allergy in the outpatient clinic setting.
As part of the Adult Allergy team there will be the opportunity to attend multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to service developments and initiatives, such as the establishment of a food challenge service.
