QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/relevant education in Disability and Group Benefits, OR
- Equivalent experience in disability management and processing, preferably in a unionized or multi-site environment
- Working towards CPHR Designation (asset)
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 (two) years prior experience in disability management is essential (e.g. WCB or disability insurance)
- Experience working in multi-site, multi-union workplaces an asset

Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an organized, meticulous professional who has experience with a high volume of employee disability claims. You will be the main contact for employee and supervisors for all medical leaves of absence, including back-up support for WCB claims.
In this role, you will report to the Manager, Total Rewards and work closely with the HR Coordinators, Payroll and our disability adjudicator to ensure employee medical leaves are dealt with in a timely, confidential and caring manner.
