SUMMARY

The Learning & Development Manager will support the development of online learning programs and delivering talent initiatives across BGIS, in Canada and US. The incumbent is responsible for identifying needs and making recommendations on the continuous improvements for training systems and processes, following through with development and evaluation of courses

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education or related field; and additional certification such as CPLP will be a bonus.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and authoring tools such as Storyline 360, Rise etc.
  • You are proficient in using learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning platforms to deliver and track training program.
  • Demonstrated knowledge that usually comes with 3-5 years’ experience with adult learning principles, exposure to course design and eLearning development software.
  • Technology savvy with ability to build web-based training.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Team-oriented and flexible with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Service driven.
  • Experience in project management and budgeting.
  • Bilingual, French and English, written and spoken.
