Clinical Responsibilities To perform advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse or complex presentations; use advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their To formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence based practice and treatment options to include developing comprehensive discharge To assess patient understanding of treatment proposals and gain valid consent to treatment. To participate in the Surrey Downs Health and Care appraisal scheme and formulate a personal development To be responsible for teaching student physiotherapists to graduate level on physiotherapeutic skills and knowledge within core clinical To participate in data collection and occasionally lead clinical audit within the Physiotherapy department or as part of the MDT. Maintain and develop current knowledge of evidence based practice in the areas of each rotation, developing specialist knowledge of particular condition and patient types. Organisational To be responsible for equipment used in carrying out physiotherapy duties and to adhere to departmental policies and guidelines to ensure safe use of equipment by yourself and physiotherapy assistants.
