Description:

This post is eligible for a Golden Hello payment of £2,750 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 3 instalments over a 2 year period. This payment is only eligible to new starters who do not already hold a contract of employment with the Trust and have not been an employee of the Trust in the previous 3 years. This post also includes paid enhancements for unsocial hours working during night, weekends and bank holidays.
Are you a highly motivated ADHD Specialist with a non-medical prescribing qualification (NMP), The Neurodevelopmental Specialist Service service in Nottingham? We are looking for someone to work as an integral part of the Specialist ADHD Team, providing specialist ADHD assessments, and treatment. This will be done within the context of a wider multidisciplinary team to provide a range of interventions. The role will also involve collaborative working with primary care.

This will be done by working as part of an effective team and providing flexible ADHD assessments, treatment and monitoring of medication within a wide variety of locality community settings.
They will be responsible for completing specialist ADHD assessments and developing a wide range of psychosocial and/or pharmacological treatment plans as an autonomous practitioner, across the breadth of provision within the Specialist Neurodevelopmental service.

The post holder will be a member of the Specialist ADHD team. Which is a part of the Specialist Services Directorate. The post holder will be responsible for providing specialist ADHD assessment, treatment and signposting for adults with a diagnosis of ADHD.
The post requires close liaison with a broad range of other disciplines and agencies, including education, social services, voluntary agencies and primary care. The post holder works autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures. The post holder will receive managerial supervision from the Clinical lead, clinical supervision, and prescribing supervision from the team’s Consultant Psychiatrist.
They will be expected to share prescribing information, evidence and rationale for prescribing decisions
