Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 paediatric Dietitian to work alongside our experienced neonatal team to support in delivering dietetic services to our Level 3 Neonatal Unit. The focus of this role is neonatal dietetics but there is an opportunity to further your skills in other areas of paediatric dietetics.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a dietitian looking for a new challenge, within a supportive service. You will be supported by Clinical specialists within the dietetic and neonatal team, accessing extensive experience and training to develop you within this role.
Our Bradford paediatric dietetic team is unique in providing care to all children across Bradford allowing the opportunity to build close rapport with patients and provide continuity of care which is highly rewarding. Our friendly team have an excellent reputation throughout the hospital and are highly respected by our clinical teams.
Nutrition is extremely important in treating the very sick and preterm infant and our dietitians are a vital part of the MDT. The team supports infants from birth throughout their inpatient stay and through the first 2 years of life. The dietitians support 8 neonatologists alongside AHP colleagues from SALT, PT and OT in outpatient clinics as well as neonatal outreach nurses. This is an extremely rewarding area of dietetics where our input makes a difference.
