Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 6 specialist Podiatrist to join Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership (CCICP) on a temporary basis to cover a maternity absence . We have 15 hours available, and are open to applicants wanting part time employment with flexible working within an 8am-5pm working day.
Work Base: Central Cheshire Community clinics. Domiciliary visits are also part of this role. You will be expected to travel to different settings across the trust’s geographical footprint.
CCICP supports staff and service development and prioritises the wellbeing of its staff with excellent access to resources and support. We also pride ourselves in staff development and training to ensure the ongoing maintenance of high standards within the workforce.
Please note, we are primarily a wound care team and all Specialist Podiatrists within CCICP are expected to undertake wound care clinics.
- To act as a Clinical Specialist in the Podiatry Service, to undertake triage, assessment and treatment of referred patients.
- To support the Team Managers and Advanced Clinical Specialists in the day to day running of the clinics and to assist in service improvement initiatives in area of work.
- To support the education and development of Podiatrists, Podiatry Assistants, Podiatry Apprentices and external Podiatry students on placement.
