Description:

We have an exciting opportunity in Hywel Dda University Health Board for a full time Band 4 Physiotherapy Technical Instructor to join the Stroke and rehabilitation physiotherapy team. This exciting new role will be supporting service delivery and patient care across acute and community services in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals to join our stroke and rehabilitation team to work within our Hywel Dda community.
We are looking for a positive and motivated individual who has the skills and ability to engage well with their patients, can work under supervision as well as independently, support innovation and training, and has the ability to work flexibly in a team. Relevant evidence of experience in patient care and rehabilitation is desired.
You will have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation. You will work with others in the team in the delivery of rehabilitation to adults in the acute and community environment, helping them to work towards functional independence. Aspects of the role will include completion of relevant administrative duties and lone domiciliary working.
You should be able to demonstrate clinical reasoning skills to enable you to assess and treat.
The provision of a flexible 7-day service may be expected of this role, based on service need.
To apply, you should have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent plus relevant experience working in rehabilitation in a physical health care setting.
The post holder will be expected to travel in a timely manner within the Hywel Dda University Health Board area.
Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. Highly specialised and tertiary services commissioned by the Welsh Health Specialised Services Committee, a joint committee representing seven health boards across Wales
