To contribute to the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual interventions to meet the needs of children and families. To report care programme outcomes and any situational changes to the team. To participate in the implementation of care programmes/interventions in childrens own homes and other specified venues which may include need for transportation of children in vehicles. To work in a multi-agency way in the best interest of the children and families.
To respect and respond to the cultural needs of families to ensure they remain at the centre of interventions offered and remain in control. To participate in on-going support to all family members and workers involved throughout the implementation of the specific and individually designed behaviour management programmes. To use physical intervention in line with national guidance following appropriate training and supervision. To maintain accurate records and statistical information in line with Trust policy and with respect to client confidentiality To participate appropriately in the monitoring, evaluation and clinical audit of the work and the development of the team.
To communicate with families and carers regarding the interventions and reasons behind them. To participate in the education programmes of learners placed with the Complex Behaviour Service, when appropriate. Please see attached Job description and Person Specification.
