ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc (or MSc degree) preferably in logistics, business administration, economics or engineering
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and technical mindset is an advantage
  • Willingness to work in operations
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and able to work under high pressure and pace
  • Ability to make prompt decisions sometimes with limited information
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Professional working proficiency in English/French or Dutch or only English

Responsibilities:

WHAT ROLE YOU WILL PLAY IN OUR TEAM

Plan and coordinate product movements for asset-forward supply chains to optimize supply/demand balances including lowest delivered cost to meet Company sales and customer demand. Develops, implements, monitors, improves and optimizes business, coordination and operations processes, systems and best practices for the assigned area.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Effectively communicate with all partners to ensure alignment and accurate execution of plans.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize plans and the use of assets while minimizing costs.
  • Ensure adherence to credit guidelines, regulatory compliance and transportation policies.
  • Provides input on capabilities and limitations of the supply systems in support of the development of supply logistics planning.
  • May manage inventory levels to ensure that supply is available and containable within the specified guidelines.
  • Maintain supply reliability to meet agreed service levels.
  • May include negotiation of shipping arrangements within the established framework.
  • Provide accounting support for month end closing.
  • If applicable, work on a daily/weekly basis with relevant internal and external parties to resolve scheduling issues and short term product availability issues
  • As needed, utilize relevant tools (advanced planning systems, transactional systems) to achieve short and medium term (0-3 months) optimal supply/demand balances
  • Coordinate review of sales forecast and discuss changes/improvement to forecast as needed with appropriate internal parties
  • Interface with site and third party labs to manage and troubleshoot product sampling and certification and understands PQ limits, testing methods, and sampling procedures to help expedite and prioritize testing, if applicable
  • As appropriate, monitor and manage interface with internal and third parties at all supply points to ensure EM assigned product quota is maintained
  • Ensure activities at third party facilities are in compliance with ExxonMobil standards / requirements, as applicable
