We are looking for a doctor who is passionate and committed to the development of general adult psychiatry.

To work within national guidance and within professional codes of conduct at all times.
To share responsibility for clinical audit of services with other consultant colleagues and in this matter, will comply with Royal College requirements.
To optionally provide input to day-time cover for the Section 12 rota if the individual wishes to join.
To be mindful of and actively involved in current safeguarding practices.
To work clinically with general adults and their families/carers and other allied professionals.
To be involved in the assessment and management of urgent and routine referrals.
To liaise closely with other relevant agencies.
To keep accurate records as required.
To contribute to service meetings for the services and contribute to the development of service strategy.
To contribute to in-house training programmes within the services.
To contribute to the development of knowledge and skills within the Service.
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is the principal provider of NHS mental health services, as well as providing some learning disability, autism, and social care services across the county. We were one of the first foundation trusts to be established in the country. The Trust has an annual income of approximately £120m with around 2,800 staff spread across the 40+ locations. The Trust cares for around 53,000 patients a year and has around 200 inpatient beds across the Trust.
The Trust has an active and successful research department. We deliver an impressive portfolio of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) clinical trials across the county, covering all areas of clinical care. A team of NIHR funded delivery staff support this work. The Trust has established a strong track record for delivery of industry trials and was highly praised by CQC for our commitment to dementia research. We are a partner organisation of NIHR Clinical Research Network East Midlands (CRN EM) and the Lincoln Institute for Health, University of Lincoln.
