Since its creation in 2018, the company has already grown substantially. Our team gathers more than 25 engineering expertise, from hardware design to software development & data science.
In 2024, Aerospacelab counts offices in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), Toulouse (France), Lausanne (Switzerland) and US West Coast with more than 200 full-time employees, with the ambition to position itself as the European leader in small satellites.
Aerospacelab is looking for an enthusiastic professional with space sector knowledge to provide ITU and legal affairs support for our space activities with a focus on:
- ITU Frequency filing, analysis and coordination as part of Aerospacelab’s satellites deployment and operation
- Overseeing export control processes, with a focus on our US subsidiary, to ensure compliance with regulations
- Providing legal expertise on space law considerations for all space activities, including satellite licensing and compliance with evolving regulations (EU space law…)
- Participation and representation of ASL in space syndicates (ASD Aerospace…), space law and policy discussion (EC as part of the EU space law…)
- Contribution to the contractual negotiations for international sales contracts, particularly in the US market
- Legal Counselling during International Tendering Procedure

Having a basic understanding of the technical aspects of Aerospacelab’s space activities is paramount for providing effective advice and analysis, especially in the matters related to ITU frequency management as well as export control. In order to navigate the complex landscape of international regulations including ITU Radio Regulation and US EAR and ITAR, a comprehension of our technological processes is essential. The ability to grasp the intricacies of our satellite operations will not only enhance your ability to ensure compliance but also empower you to strategically advise on matters that directly impact our company’s success in the global space industry.
