Description:
Due to staff development we are delighted to offer this part time inpatient adult post to an enthusiastic and forward thinking therapist, who is passionate about adult communication and swallow assessment and management as part of our acute team in Princess of Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Applications from students due to graduate this academic year will be considered.
You will be based in Princess of Wales working primarily in stroke. You will work alongside colleagues in Medicine and Critical care . We have regular access to instrumental assessment and an in-service training program in place to support our band 5 staff.
We are looking for a natural team player with excellent communication skills who is able to think on their feet and work in a co-productive way with adult clients - always offering a patient-centred and holistic approach to intervention. You will demonstrate our health board values of listening, learning and improving; treating everyone with respect and always working together as one team.
