    This thriving NFP are now looking for 2 Speech Pathologists with experience working with adult clients.
    Contractor rates range from $120 – $145 an hour (2 days a week commitment minimum) OR options for a permanent role with a salary of $70,000–$110,000 + super + salary packaging + car allowance based on qualifications and experience.

As a Speech Pathologist you will provide specialist support services to school aged children, young people and adults with a disability, their families and carers. These services are delivered within a person-centred, strengths based approach; identifying the individual’s strengths and needs and designing a program of supports as per their individual goals in their NDIS packages.

About the role:

  • Manage a caseload of people with a disability and their families or carers, who present with communication and/or eating/drinking needs in accordance with best practice guidelines to ensure positive outcomes for participant’s
  • Assess participant needs and develop, implement, monitor and review NDIS plans for each participant to ensure the participant’s assessed needs are being met
  • Act as a specialist resource to management on all matters pertaining to the provision of Speech Pathology services in the organisation
  • Provide psychological and speech pathology services to school aged children, young people and adults with disabilities, their families and carers
  • Collaborate with other clinical disciplines in the development and delivery of therapeutic interventions
  • Support the philosophy of person centered practice and engage in collaborative, holistic goal setting
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and standards impacting on the delivery of services to people with disabilities, including the Disability Inclusion Act 2014

To be eligible to apply:

  • Recognized Degree in Speech Pathology
  • SPA Registered Speech Pathologist
  • Flexibility in work hours may be necessary and some travel.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills including verbal, written and cross cultural.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)
