Job Description

SPEECH PATHOLOGIST POSITION (NEW GRAD/EARLY CAREERS/EXPERIENCED WELCOMED!)

As the next enthusiastic Speech Pathologist at NeuroRehab, you will work closely with people with acquired neurological conditions (Stroke, TBI, & progressive conditions) and developmental disabilities (cerebral palsy, intellectual disability, and Autism Spectrum Disorder). Our Speech Pathology team collaborates with other multi-disciplinary clinicians to provide a holistic therapy service.
The role is challenging as no two days are the same (clinic and community-based services), yet, rewarding, and ideal for those looking to make an impact on people and their journey to independence. Our Speech Pathology department focuses on quality improvement, professional development, and innovation to ensure people receive a safe and high-quality service. Our Speech team in Albury currently run dysphagia clinics, has access to an in-house AAC consultancy service and provides clinic-based and community-based communication assessment and therapy.
Our clients are predominantly NDIS participants along with some TAC/LTC and My Aged Care-funded clients. You will help empower clients to live a life full of choice, inclusion and new possibilities! We are a Child Safe organisation and adhere to Victorian/New South Wales Child Safe regulations. Your caseload will be tailored to your interests or experiences (neurological or disability or mixed).

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Demonstrated commitment to person-centred approaches and best practices within the NDIS.
  • Driver’s license
  • Internet access to work-from-home.
  • Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening check.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination and certification
  • Influenza vaccination
