Experience in bulk whisky / gin operations or related operations
FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:
Ability to balance and prioritise workloads
High level of understanding of bulk whisky/gin processes and operational requirements
Ability to work closely with others within the team, but also other internal functions (Finance, Customs Compliance, Production team, etc.)
Knowledge of SAP and DRAMS or experience with similar MRP systems
Highly competent in Microsoft Office applications and IT systems in general
Good problem solving and analytical abilities
Valid driving licence

Responsibilities:
With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
Liaising with the Distillery team to co-ordinate on scheduling tankers and replenishment of holding stock levels of our white liquid requirements (Bombay variants, Oxley)
Creation of weekly white liquid plan, in-depth understanding of all metrics that impact stock holding levels, responsible to alert wider stakeholder team to concerns in a timely manner
Creation of rolling 12 week production plan, publication of this on a weekly locked timescale with key points highlighted (covering all product types such as Presse)
Leading and chairing all planning meetings
Liaise with key stakeholders in house and at third party locations to ensure strong relationships are created allowing for cross functional working
Participate in all white liquid innovation projects
Responsible for ensuring that sufficient volumes of products are available with adequate processing time to meet the production schedule on time and in full across global bottling demands
Owner and accountable for all white liquid stocks and systematic quantities
Accountable to review the W report for white liquids and ensure fully compliant for each month end process
Creation and maintenance of annual STOs and POs for supply of liquid types from multiple locations to bottling site
Creation of price codes with DRAMS to support tanker processing and the onward communication of these to the operational functions
Ensure that no backlog of STOs, POs or other system transactional elements remain within 24 hours of deliveries
Utilising SAP and DRAMS in the execution of creating plans, ensuring systems are correct and up to date
Recording and sharing of trackers and KPIs relating to their operations
Liaising with vendors to order and track consumable stocks
Understanding and exercising financial and customs compliance requirements in relation to all operations
Acting as 1st point of contact for operators regarding correction of any system processing errors, assisting in corrections. Drive continuous improvement through improving systems and training operators
Attendance of cross-functional meetings relating to planning activities, representing the spirit supply team
Coaching other team members in best practice related to stock monitoring procedures
Identifying and driving continuous improvements in procedures and operations
Providing cover to other team members and sites when needed and engaging in cross-functional support within the team
Support and coach team on processing within Descartes (EMCS)
