Sports Dept Assistant

Position Summary:
Assists the Facility and Maintenance Supervisor in the overall day to day facility operations of the Fitness Center, Endless Pool, Aquatic Center, Athletic Fields and the Track and Field Complex, as well as, any ancillary venue site for events and programs.
Responsibilities:

EDUCATION/TRAINING

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

EXPERIENCE

Experience with grounds, event preparation, event operations, event tear down, and day to day facility and department operations

• Assists with maintenance of NTC Fields, Aquatic Center and Track and Field Complex for daily activities.
• Assists with the set up and tear down of all NTC and South Lake Hospital (SLH) Events, Camps, Clinics, Teams and individual training groups.
• Works without supervision.
• Assists with providing ancillary services for NTC Sports Spring and Winter Games.
• Assists with any necessary daily maintenance needs from grounds keeping, grounds crew, ticketing, pool cleaning and pool repair, repair and install sports equipment, etc., as needed.
• Work weekdays, nights and weekends as scheduling dictates.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Respects the rights and privacy of others and holds staff member information in strict confidence.
• Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
