REQUIREMENTS TO BE A SPORTS PROGRAM ASSISTANT:
- Minimum age 16 (depends on age of participants)
- Current state approved First Aid, CPR/AED Certificate
- Minimum of 6 months experience in refereeing
- A positive energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SPORTS PROGRAM ASSISTANT:
- Oversee and coordinate all activities, staff and volunteers at sports games and practices
- Enforce league and YMCA playing rules at sports games as needed
- Create a fun and safe environment for friendly competition
