Volvo Group Australia, Brisbane has an opportunity for a Spraypainter in the Production team. The primary purpose of this position is the preparation and spray painting of Volvo and Mack branded trucks and chassis.

Other duties include:

• Production Targets
• Preparation and Spray Painting of Vehicles
• Production Targets
• Work together with the Team Leader and the team to achieve daily targets and other team targets

Performance

• To follow the directions of the Team Leader and / or Production Leader.
• To follow the instructions of the company in accordance with the site EBA, Award and all company policies and procedures.
• To work within a designated team of spray painters.
• To use the correct tools and equipment for preparation and painting activities.
• To liaise effectively with other teams as required.
• To take initiative and be involved in improving day to day business.

Volvo Way

• To ensure housekeeping (5S) procedures are followed at all times.
• Adopt all other VPS tools as required by the company.
• Work with the OMS system to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in the development of TEAMS in conjunction with your Team Leader and Production Leader.
• Work with the Continuous Improvement process.
• Work with Standardised work tool.
