SQL Database Administrator

This is an onsite position in Quesnel, BC. Candidates must be in British Columbia to be considered for this role, and relocation support can be provided.
This is a full-time and permanent opportunity with a well-established company in the forestry sector. They are industry leaders and have operations around the world.
You will join the Application Support team and support this company’s internal technologies and databases.
You will support this company’s SQL servers, which are mainly on premise. You will maintain the databases and having programming experience will be helpful.
What you will do and how you will make an impact …
[-] You will troubleshoot issues with their SQL databases
[-] You will configure, manage and maintain SQL servers
[-] You will support system enhancements, and work with vendors as needed
[-] You will be responsible for patching the system and ensure that the servers are running properly
[-] Proven experience with SQL server administration
[-] Minimum 3 years of experience in a database administrator / similar position

Compensation & benefits …
This is a full-time and permanent position that includes a competitive base salary, bonus program, extended health and dental benefits, and paid vacation. Relocation support to Quesnel can also be provided.
