EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• High level working knowledge of SQL Databases and Programming
• Advanced Python programming
• PL/pgSQL (Postgres) /PL/SQL (Oracle)
• R programming
• Good knowledge of BI Toolsets and Dashboard writing
• Understanding of Supportable, Debugable, Production quality code
• Understanding of application automation, Release lifecycle knowledge and Code control methodologies
• Good understanding of GIS Systems (Preference of Smallworld)
• Good understanding of Asset management Systems (SAP)

• Investigate different options and solutions for addressing various business problems, helping to make the network more reliable and safer.
• Automate use cases as much as possible to increase efficiency and customer outcomes
• Liaise with the relevant Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other technical and specialist resources, where required.
• Ensure detailed design of Smart Grid applications cater for both internal network purposes but are also capable of being marketed externally, where applicable
• Perform feasibility analysis of proposed use cases
• Coordinate the high-level design of solutions
