Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimise SQL scripts and queries to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
- Design and implement database solutions to meet business needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse data, and provide insights for decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner, ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in SQL development, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in SQL development, with proficiency in writing complex queries and optimising database performance.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL Server, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Experience with data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
