As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Compose Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments
  • Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
  • Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
  • Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
  • Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
  • Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
  • Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)
  • Other projects as required
  • Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Candidate accomplished in financial reporting is ideal
  • Skilled with ERP systems
  • 3+ years of overall general accounting experience
  • Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
  • A strong track record of communicating, both verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
  • General familiarity with Inventory Reports
  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
  • Adeptness in manufacturing
  • Ad Hoc Reporting experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Wholesale distribution
  • QuickBooks experience highly desired
  • Bank reconciliations experience
  • General ledger experience
  • Commissions experience highly preferred
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
