If you are an experienced Accountant with an aptitude for adaptability, this may be the Senior Accountant role for you! We are working with a manufacturing client in the process of setting up a shared service environment for their two entities. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to help clean up their accounting and help redefine their processes! We would love to work with you as our new Senior Accountant, so apply as soon as possible! This short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Mason, Ohio area.

Your responsibilities

• Account Analysis, Monthly Accounting Close Procedures, Reconciliations, Journal Entries in compliance with GAAP
• Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Inventory Analysis and Accounting
• Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
• BA/BS in Accounting or similar field preferred
• Previous experience working with JD Edwards is helpful, though not required
• Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
• Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of month end, reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis, and inventory procedures
