Calling all experienced full cycle Accountants!
Robert Half has partnered with a well established transportation/logistics company to find a dynamic Accounting professional to join their growing team.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions and support. The primary goal of this position is to manage all the day to day accounting activities to contribute to the overall success of the company. In addition, this position will give an individual an opportunity to develop their accounting skills in a team environment with a great atmosphere.

Preparation of Account Reconciliations including investigation and correction
Full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Preparation and posting journal entries
Processing bi-weekly Payroll (up to 90 employees)
Bank Reconciliations
Assist in monthly and year-end closing tasks
Generate weekly and monthly reports as required
The role is 100% in office (based in Nisku) with flexibility around start/end times. The salary range is $80 - $90K and designation or pursuit of one is NOT required, but would be considered an asset. Full benefits and three weeks vacation, plus access to an onsite gym, and new laptop are the other highlights of the total compensation package.

Degree or Diploma in Accounting is preferred
Designation not required, but considered an asset
5+ years of full cycle accounting experience
Experience with QuickBooks Online is considered an asset
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience
Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
Must have excellent time management skills
