Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant with the following qualifications.

  • Performing bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Developing and updating workpapers for monthly close in compliance with U.S. GAAP to maintain consistency across various entities.
  • Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and receipts.
  • Overseeing payroll and related information including HR compliance filings, unemployment insurance management, and 401K contribution management to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Recording journal entries in ERP associated with the above tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data.
  • Demonstrating a strong business acumen to understand the organization’s strategic goals and align accounting functions accordingly.
  • Taking initiative to improve processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the accounting department.
  • Balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing needs in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all tasks are completed within deadlines.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience in an accounting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations
  • Familiarity with general ledger management and journal entries preparation
  • Ability to handle month-end close procedures
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of integrity and dependability
  • CPA certification is a plus.
