JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Accountant will be in charge of ensuring the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. You will work closely with the finance team and will participate in the preparation of financial reports, perform account analysis and reconciliations, assist with budget and close processes, conduct internal audits, and ensure compliance with GAAP.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with progression in responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with large ERP systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects.

• Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus
• 3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Skill with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
• Strong time management skills preferred
• Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
• Skilled with ERP systems
• BA/BS in Accounting, MBA are preferred
• Strong communication and social skills
• Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Monthly Financial Statements experience preferred
• Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting
• Proficiency in Monthly Financial Close
• Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines

• Preparing and consolidating financial statements.
• Establishing and maintaining accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations.
• Analyzing and reporting cost variances.
• Serving as a liaison to external auditors during annual audit.
