Sr Actuary (Annuity Solutions)

JOB SUMMARY:

Actuarial role in the Annuity Solutions business unit. This role will be responsible for supporting the pricing activities of the Annuity Solutions business unit by training new team members, leading departmental projects, conducting market research, creating and maintaining pricing tools and dashboards, assisting with assumption setting, and peer reviewing and debugging models.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• FSA designation the Society of Actuaries (ASA considered) with 5+ years of experience
• Knowledge of reinsurance and insurance industry.
• Experience with pricing or annuity products.
• Actuarial modelling experience: MG-ALFA essential, GGY-AXIS optional.
• Strong quantitative analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and create practical solutions to move complex business problems forward.
• Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Business skills: Strong technical skills, highly organized and detailed, excellent writing and documentation skills

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Computer programming skills and/or knowledge, such as Python, SQL, PowerBI
• Background in financial reporting, valuation and understand of regulatory guidelines for annuity products

Total Compensation Range: $121,100 - $191,900 (inclusive of Base and Bonus)
