Overview:
The Sr Analyst, Incentive Compensation will independently manage and drive compensation projects, as well as administer, audit, and make recommendations on variable pay programs and process improvements. This individual will partner with all stakeholders and support teams to provide interpretation around compensation philosophy and strategy. As part of the team, this individual will identify, develop, and implement new and revised compensation programs, incentive structures, and financial models to support our dental offices nationwide. This position requires a highly analytical person with a background in Finance and Data Analytics, who is comfortable with multiple compensation and HRIS systems, solving complex business problems and performing detailed statistical and financial data analysis that can be acted upon to improve the internal operation and overall understanding of compensation processes and structures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 -7 years of experience working with incentive administration/modeling.
  • Advanced skill with Excel, ability to build imbedded formulas, comfortable managing large data sets from various sources.

  • Ability to handle and maintain extreme confidentially with employee records, compensation information, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the day to day execution and management of PDS compensation programs (primarily focused on variable pay programs) to ensure appropriate governance and adherence to PDS’s pay-for-performance philosophy.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Finance, IT, Accounting and Payroll to continuously assess, streamline, and automate scalable end-to-end compensation processes.
  • Lead incentive plan creation or redesign projects, including plan analysis and building projection data, regularly meeting with support teams and leadership throughout process managing compensation support, test and audit plan results, and build training for administrator and field processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and leadership to understand business goals and recommend/implement innovative approaches, policies and processes to effect continual improvements in compensation programs.
  • Utilize various qualitative and quantitative analysis, modelling and reporting to aide business leaders in executing compensation decisions and programs.
  • Audits monthly, quarterly, and annual incentive calculations for more complex incentive plans that include several components.
  • Perform variable incentive program reconciliations, providing root source analysis to resolve issues.
  • Monitor incentive payouts and projections providing updates to management throughout plan year.
  • Uses historical trend information and expertise in market and business environments to create projections used for budgeting, forecasting, and plan changes.
  • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional to identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to management.
  • Design, build and maintain robust compensation reports and dashboards and provide leadership with real-time visibility into compensation business insights and incentive plan results.
