Overview:
The Sr. Analyst, EPMO will help to drive and facilitate the execution of the PDS Project/Program Portfolio. These initiatives require a significant amount of hands-on-attention to detail to keep of all the complex streams aligned and on track. This role will assist in supporting the Enterprise PMO by bolstering detailed business and technical coordination in critical projects and at the portfolio level.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of project management or business analyses experience in business operations and/or information management within a large clinical environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited university or college in lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience is required.
  • Must have working knowledge of waterfall and agile development methodologies.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products including some or all of the following Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the PDS Project Portfolio.
  • Facilitates and ensures adherence to the PDS project processes and tools to support enterprise objectives.
  • Ensures required documentation is completed on time and in alignment with the PDS PIC / CPC processes.
  • Elicits system requirements and documenting detailed process flow diagrams to be handed over to the development teams.
  • Manages small to moderately complex projects.
  • Identifies and raises awareness of potential enterprise risks, while proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Explores new processes and tools/systems which will improve metric tracking, ensure efficient processes and increase knowledge sharing with the collaboration of internal stakeholders.
  • Creates metrics and analyzes progress of initiatives, prepare solutions to ensure initiatives goals and timeline are met.
  • Assists in enterprise project resource management.
  • Provides updates to Management as required. Ensures all action items are assigned and completed.
  • Responsible for agendas and content for the Executive Level Project Governance Board and Corporate Planning Committees.
  • Responsible for all levels of Project Reporting (individual, departmental, executive, etc.)
  • Creates, coordinates and develops project charters, business cases, technical and architecture specifications and project plans for identified projects.
  • Responsible for completeness of all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle and for obtaining appropriate approvals at each phase of the project.
  • Act as a liaison with the business users to document requirements and identify gaps / enhancements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
