Job Summary
The Sr. Analyst, HR Systems and Analytics, will be responsible for creating and maintaining report designs, triaging, testing, supporting, maintaining and configuring the HR system including data uploads, rollout and testing of updates and enhancements. This role will also help develop operational efficiency across functional areas, bring intellectual curiosity about data, deliver value through data to our businesses, help influence decisions, improve processes, solve challenges, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Capital Analytics
Develop and publish reports and dashboards according to stakeholders’ requirements. Provide analytical and reporting support for the HR team to help identify opportunities to affect business results, change processes and support strategic initiatives. Maintain and refine the reporting activities of the team.
Manage and create queries/reporting in HCM; administer development, automation and publishing of reports from various HR systems using SQL and other analytics tools; develop and design dashboards
In conjunction with the HR Systems and Analytics teams, analyze and interpret reporting trends to obtain actionable metrics and translate them into insightful data narrative
2. HRIS Administration
Administer the availability, usability and integrity and security of the HR data employed in the enterprise. Continually optimize HR processes and recommend solutions that will demonstrate value to the enterprise and improves the bottom line.
Administer quality assurance and audit processes to ensure data integrity, accuracy and protection.
Administer HR system maintenance, changes, upgrades and releases, including communication to stakeholders of the business processes impacted by the changes and other related downstream impacts.
Troubleshoot issues and errors. Monitor systems for problems, manage alerts and system downtime. Identify and implement corrective action.
3. Team Accountability and Project Management
Assist team with end-user support for systems configuration, access issues, application errors and data problems.
Participate in new projects implementations and functionality uptake; seeing projects through the full lifecycle and perform functions related to requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT and post-production support.
4. Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. Observe security policies in accessing, securing and protecting confidential and sensitive information including the maintenance of access.
Education, Experience and Skills
Associate’s Degree required , Bachelor’s preferred in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems or other business related field.
1-2 years demonstrated experience creating robust HR data analytics tools (dashboards, scorecards, etc.) to help business stakeholders better understand data; strong ability to tell a story through data is required
1-2 years HRIS experience or a functional HR Technology role using HCM Applications such as Workday
Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), BI Reporting, Qlik Sense
Analytical Abilities - Able to synthesize and analyze complex data to identify potential risks and draw meaningful conclusions. Translate requirements into user stories, development and configuration. Ability to interface with multiple teams and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Technical Skills - advanced MS Office skills, SQL, reporting tools and analytics, HCM application such as Oracle, Workday
Great Communication Skills - Strong communications, both verbally and written. Good at working with both technology subject matter experts and stakeholders.
HR Understanding - in-depth knowledge of HR organizations, HR compliance, functional HR processes and practices.
Other Attributes - flexible and agile; takes initiative and solves problems; decisive; extremely accurate and detail-oriented coupled with the ability to see the broader picture.
The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $100,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
