Reporting to the Senior Director, Hard Discount OMNI & Program Governance, the Senior Analyst , this role will be a part of a diverse and dynamic team that will support the online shopping experience for all food categories.
As a Sr. Analyst, Omni-Channel, you will drive online customer retention by using your knowledge in analytics to develop statistical analysis, derive practical insights and deliver accurate reporting from customer data. You’ll work collaboratively, using your experience in Customer Lifecycle marketing and retention strategies to deliver the high-impact customer strategies and personalization tactics that will grow our business. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, etc.) or related experience in a technical field
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an analytical role and ability to work with relevant tools (SQL, Excel, BigQuery, Python/R/SAS, Omniture/GA etc.)
  • Ability to generate relevant business and customer insights from large volumes of complex data
  • Experience using data analysis and modelling to better understand customers, using transactional and behavioral data sets
  • Comfortable building dashboards with data visualization tools (Looker, Data Studio, PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis (Experimental Design, Hypothesis Testing, ANOVA, GLM, etc.) and advanced models (Decision Trees, Clustering, Time Series Analysis, etc.)
  • Experience in Retail analytics (CRM, Loyalty, merch, promo) an asset
  • Strong communication skills, and collaborative attitude
  • Experience with Agile development practices is preferred
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and associated tools (e.g. BigQuery, DataLab) is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, execution and measurement of data-driven marketing programs
  • Use a variety of tools to derive deep and practical insights to inform marketing and communications strategies
  • Implement and continuously optimize programs and initiatives that drive retention of online customers
  • Design, test and measure direct marketing campaigns, personalization initiatives and promotional tactics
  • Forecast, track, and analyze campaign performance to improve digital conversions and incremental opportunities
  • Develop and maintain reports that contain practical metrics to monitor business performance and inform strategic decisions
  • Automate and improve processes to support analytical throughput
