REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 1-3 years HR Generalist working experience with a heavy focus on recruitment is required
  • Previous experience with recruitment and employee relations for a Distribution or Manufacturing group
  • Strong understanding of employment standards across Canada
  • Flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs
  • University degree and/or college diploma in Business/Human Resources
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal investigations as required
  • Coordinate the onboarding and orientation for new employees
  • Responsible for communicating company initiatives to all employees
  • Assist the supervisors with the return-to-work process
  • Provide guidance and assistance with the attendance management process
  • Communicate and provide support to employees with regards the benefit and total rewards programs
  • Assist all departments with performance management
