Located at our office in Naperville, IL, our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience. A regular in-office hybrid model is required (generally in-office T-TH and remote M & F).

POSITION SUMMARY

Sr. Application Architect as part of the Enterprise Architecture team will be responsible to architect solutions cutting across multiple applications, define data architecture & integration, aid in technology selection process, and define technology standards and processes. Architect shall be identified as EA owner of key applications in the landscape responsible for the technology vision of those applications in alignment with overall IT and Business strategy.

COMPUTER SKILLS NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB

• AWS Cloud Platform certification will be advantageous.
• ERP, CRM applications and certifications will be advantageous.
• Data Platforms viz. Snowflake, RDS, SQL/NoSQL
• Digital and Cloud Native application development
• Restful APIs, Messaging, event drive

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (Required)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible to own and drive vision of applications as the Architectural Owner of identified applications
• Drive technology selection and adoption strategy for the enterprise
• Carry-out market research, identify technology trends and recommend right fit technology aligned to business objectives
• Identify and design Integration touchpoints across systems.
• Define best practices and technology standards for the organization as part of EA governance.
• Participate and contribute in Technology Review Committee (equivalent of ARB)
• Define the solution architecture and implementation roadmap.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ROLE

• Has an overall IT experience of 10+ years of experience and Application Architecture experience of 3+ years.
• Has played the role of an architect in designing cross-functional solutions across multiple applications, cloud and data platforms.
• Clearly demonstrate competencies in architecting solutions consisting of Data, Application, Business Rules, Integration and Security
• Demonstrates experience in defining implementation roadmaps and approaches for large transformative initiatives.
• Has strong capabilities in designing complex solutions leveraging ERPs, CRM, custom applications, APIs, payment systems, Datawarehouse etc.
• Has developed application architecture for enterprise or for an LoB.
