QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient understanding of modern development methodologies and their underlying principles.
• Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in configuring cloud platforms, ideally with hands-on involvement setting up Azure environments.
• Solid experience working with network and security as an Architect or in similar capacity.
• Documented history of effectively managing stakeholders, communicating professionally to diverse audiences.
• Experience communicating with individuals at all levels within a delivery organization, showcasing adaptability and clarity in interactions.
• Extensive hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and a solid grasp of IaC concepts.
• Business acumen to communicate architectural decisions and contribute meaningfully to strategic discussions from a both a commercial and technical point of view.
• Strong industry knowledge in retail, banking, payment services, or FinTech.

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE AS A SR. ARCHITECT?

This role will be responsible for our platform design and architectural choices while also maintaining the security requirements. You will work closely with the Head of Tech Foundations, DevOps Engineers, Product Owners and Developers to build our Azure platform and understanding what we want to run on our platform from the development perspective.
We are looking for a person who can make sure that our architecture is based on modern principles and innovative technologies. To really thrive in this Sr. Architect role you should be a driving force for changes on our platform, and be able to communicate the changes and requirements to stakeholders with different backgrounds.

YOU WILL DO THE FOLLOWING IN THE ROLE AS A SR. ARCHITECT:

• Be responsible for the design and security implementation of our Azure platform, ensuring robustness and compliance with industry standards.
• Proactively research and adopt emerging technologies relevant to Handelsbanken, providing informed insights to enhance our digital capabilities.
• Actively contribute to strategic discussions and decision-making processes within the digital unit and across Handelsbanken Norway.
• Effectively communicate architectural decisions and updates to diverse stakeholders within Handelsbanken, fostering alignment and understanding.
• Maintain a steadfast focus on security throughout the platform lifecycle, overseeing configuration, encryption, and security evaluations.
