Job Description

YOUR MISSION:

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager with experience in Capital markets solution. Our mission is for one of our clients, a private Bank in Geneva.
As a Business Analyst / Project manager you will be responsible for the documentation of the existing systems’ functionalities used by traders and the order flows between order management systems and execution platforms. Additionally, you will identify and document the gaps in the current platform to implement our client’s trading business goals and strategy. You will also contribute to the analysis of vendors’ platforms to implement the business strategy.

Your responsibilities:

  • Leading the analysis phase by organizing information gatherings and discussions as well as formalizing the decisions made by the steering committee of the project;
  • Formalizing the IT platform strategy for Global Market Services and Business Process Outsourcing;
  • Defining the target platform’s functional capabilities and the functional gaps with current platforms;
  • Delivering an inventory of the existing functionalities implemented in the current systems to process securities and Forex orders;
  • Identifying and documenting the functional gaps to cover trading desks’ needs;
  • Preparing a request for Information questionnaire and documentation.

Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

  • You hold a master’s degree in business administration, finance, or engineering (specialization in market finance would be a plus);
  • You possess previous experience in IT implementations projects, project management and business analysis;
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in building an integration capital markets solution, in particular Execution and Order Management Systems for equities, bonds and derivatives trading;
  • You possess good knowledge of the market landscape of trading platform offerings from vendors and in FIX protocol for connectivity;
  • You show analytical and problem-solving skills with strong teamwork and collaboration mindset and excellent communication and interpersonal attitude;
  • You can effectively interact with business and technology stakeholders, including C-levels, experts and external third parties;
  • You speak English and French fluently;
  • You have a Swiss Residency.
