Description:

Job Summary
Works closely with customers, business analysts, developers and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions, designing and modifying PeopleSoft modules and building integration to a multitude of ancillary systems to meet user needs and enhance processes. The primary purpose is to maintain application configuration, test, support (issue management, request fulfillment) and provide expert analysis for the PeopleSoft financials applications and related ancillary systems.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related experience or associate’s degree and 6 years of related experience or high school diploma and 8 years of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree with coursework in computing, information systems, accounting or related field and eight to twelve years of progressively responsible PeopleSoft support and analysis experience.

Minimum five years of working experience in performing business analyst’s functions with proficiency in two or more of the following PeopleSoft modules:

  • Source to Procurement: eProcurement, Purchasing, Inventory, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Contracts, Supplier Management, Related reporting, 3rd party Interfaces (Jaggaer, PaymentWorks)
  • Secondary: Accounts Payable, Travel and Expense, and HCM Integrations supporting Travel and Expense; 3rd party interfaces to/from Concur Travel
  • Expertise in setup and configuration of Workflow – (AWE), Supplemental Data Framework;
  • Experience with AP processing, Financial Gateway is a plus.
  • Extensive experience with PS Fluid Interface; Approval framework and work centers.
  • Ability to use requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
  • Higher Education experience.

Excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, promote teamwork, problem-solving, and understanding of systems engineering concepts.
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Project).
Solid working knowledge of business analysis and all phases of the application development life cycle specifically business case development, modeling techniques and methods and ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis.
Hands-on experience with one or more PeopleSoft applications (Enterprise Portal, HCM, Financials, EPM, and/or CRM); and integrating PeopleSoft with non -PeopleSoft Applications or third-party systems.

  • Ability to work well with people in all levels of the organization and handle a fast paced, dynamic environment where competing interests and working multiple priorities is the norm.
  • Responsible for requirements gathering, creating functional specifications, application configuration, conduct system testing, assisting users to create user acceptance test (UAT) test scripts and support UAT
  • Excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, promote teamwork, problem-solving, and understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Project);
  • Strong skills with operating STAT, Phire, or any change management system.
  • Working knowledge using Cherwell & Service Now (Incident and Problem Management, Request Fulfillment, Change Management or other ITSM systems
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; including technical writing skills

15% Collaborate and share knowledge including:

  • Demonstrating functionality and expertise to educate internal/campus customers
  • Documenting and sharing tools, tips and knowledge within and across teams
  • Provide content/develop communication to external end users

10% Contribute knowledge and process improvement including:

  • Posting and reviewing with internal/campus customers helpful documentation for SME
  • Recommendations for process/procedure improvements
  • Project management

5% Other functions as assigned.

Physical Activities Working Conditions Additional Information

  • Position location will be discussed during the interview process. Location can be Fort Worth, TX or Richardson, TX.
  • Hybrid remote work environment available. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Must have the ability to be on Richardson campus with 48 hours of notice.
