QUALIFICATIONS

What you’ll need:

  • U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • Requires 5 years with BS/BA or 3 years with MS/MA or 0 years with PhD, in lieu of degree, 9 years with applicable experience will be considered.
  • C# Software development experience

Desired Skills:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Unmanned Systems Software Development Experience
  • Familiarity with DoD DEVSECOPS InfrastructureTarget Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Responsibilities:

We are hiring a Sr. Software Developer for our new program in San Diego, CA, working onsite with some remote telework for local candidates.

What you’ll do:

  • Leverage NIWC Pacific DEVOPS infrastructure to develop Common Control System (CCS) application that will provide simultaneous sortie planning, control, monitoring, and post-mission analysis of multiple unmanned systems
  • Provide support to the Software Support Activity (SSA) engineering services for the Common Control System (CCS) product.
  • Support the development and/or sustainment of a software development environment that covers the entire Software Development Lifecycle using current methodologies to include Continuous Deployment, Agile, and Development Operations (DevOps).
