Description:
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 8+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications and systems
- Demonstrated ability in information technology, enterprise data-center technologies and private cloud
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with architecting solutions on AWS
- AWS / Cloud related certifications
- Understanding of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
- Knowledge of software development and automation tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, Python, etc.)
- Experience with managing and using Git-repositories (GitLab, GitHub)
- Scripting abilities with one or more general purpose programming languages including Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript
- Experience in the business technology market, and expertise working closely with sales and marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields
- Solid understanding of VMware, KVM or another virtualization software
- Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
- PaaS platforms like Pivotal, Cloud Foundry and OpenShift
- On-premise to cloud migrations or IT transformations
- Strong understanding of cloud security requirements, tools, and best practic8

- Provide a detailed guidance on software, platforms and/or infrastructure services and well-architected principles
- Participate and/ or lead proof of concept development to assist in defining technology direction for our customers
- Participate in Agile sprints and associated activities
- Drive engagements related to assessing, refactoring and finding opportunity for existing applications to take advantage of modern application architectures (e.g. microservices, containers)
- Provide leadership, mentorship and advisory services to engineers and project teams to ensure that solutions are in line with the architecture direction and business strategies
- Influence and provide guidance in the future direction for enterprise architecture programs
- Define and document architecture and technology standards reference architectures and solution architectures, constraints, and guideline
