REQUIRED SKILLS

• 8+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications and systems
• Demonstrated ability in information technology, enterprise data-center technologies and private cloud
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with architecting solutions on AWS
• AWS / Cloud related certifications
• Understanding of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
• Knowledge of software development and automation tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, Python, etc.)
• Experience with managing and using Git-repositories (GitLab, GitHub)
• Scripting abilities with one or more general purpose programming languages including Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript
• Experience in the business technology market, and expertise working closely with sales and marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide robust and scalable technology solutions to enable our customers to scale their operations into public cloud
• Provide a detailed guidance on software, platforms and/or infrastructure services and well-architected principles
• Participate and/ or lead proof of concept development to assist in defining technology direction for our customers
• Participate in Agile sprints and associated activities
• Drive engagements related to assessing, refactoring and finding opportunity for existing applications to take advantage of modern application architectures (e.g. microservices, containers)
• Provide leadership, mentorship and advisory services to engineers and project teams to ensure that solutions are in line with the architecture direction and business strategies
• Influence and provide guidance in the future direction for enterprise architecture programs
• Define and document architecture and technology standards reference architectures and solution architectures, constraints, and guideline
