- In-depth knowledge of compensation programs (Incentive, Base & Bonus structures).
- FLSA guidance and compensation impact.
- Job analysis and Organizational design support.
- Policies & Procedure building. Compensation implementation and updates
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Working independently, the Senior Compensation Analyst provides advanced analytical expertise to the planning, design, development, and administration of employee compensation and total rewards programs across the organization. Principal outcomes of this position include executing, modeling, and recommending strategies and programs that maximize Consumers Energy’s competitive offerings, drive business results and support the Company’s strategic goals in a cost-effective manner.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Provide analysis to guide the design, implementation and administration of the organization’s compensation programs.
- Work collaboratively and influentially on projects with cross-functional business partners including but not limited to People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Operations, and IT to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Participate in salary surveys, analyze survey results and make recommendations relative to benchmarking jobs.
- Provide guidance to P&C Business Partners and leaders regarding salary changes associated with promotions, demotions, transfers as well as market and equity adjustments.
- Partner with Internal Stakeholders to manage and solve daily compensation queries.
- Lead or assist with projects that support compensation design including data collection, data analysis, ROI analysis, presentation development, communication, and program implementation.
- Participate on projects or initiatives related to market competitiveness, pay structures, career/job framework, pay equity, and/or pay transparency.
- May provide compensation consulting support to the business.
- Other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary.
